This print is based on a view of one of the glaciers in Banff National Park, with a color palette similar to that of a Hercules Segers print.

Hercules Segers did several prints of imaginary landscapes. This is my imaginary landscape using mountains and rocky fields from British Columbia as sources.

This image began with a spectacular eroded formation in Utah's Monument Valley. I transformed the original into an imaginary landscape as Segers did in many of his paintings and prints.
